📌 About the Event
Rural Housing II is an international architecture competition organized by Terraviva Competitions. Participants are invited to transform the former stable of Cascina Maestà, a historic farmhouse in the countryside of Pavia, Italy, into two contemporary duplex homes. The challenge focuses on adaptive reuse, sustainable design, rural heritage preservation and modern family living. Architecture and design students from India can participate individually or in teams and showcase their creative ideas to an international audience.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Open to students, architects, designers, engineers, artists, urban planners and other creative individuals worldwide.
- Indian students are eligible; there are no nationality or country-of-residence restrictions.
- Participants may compete individually or in teams.
- Submit two horizontal A1 presentation panels and a brief text describing the design proposal.
- All submission materials must be in English.
- The design must transform the former stable of Cascina Maestà into two contemporary homes while respecting the existing building and rural landscape.
🏆 Benefits for Participants
- First Prize: €5,000.
- Second Prize: €2,000.
- Third Prize: €1,000.
- Five Golden Mentions receive a free membership coupon.
