📌 About the Event
The Tamil Nadu BC, MBC/DNC Scholarship 2026–27 is a Government of Tamil Nadu financial assistance scheme for eligible students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate courses at IITs, IIMs, IIITs, NITs, Central Universities and other eligible central educational institutions. The scheme supports students belonging to the Backward Classes (BC), Most Backward Classes (MBC) and Denotified Communities (DNC) with an annual family income not exceeding ₹2.50 lakh, offering reimbursement of eligible educational fees up to ₹2 lakh per year.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Applicants must be natives of Tamil Nadu and belong to an eligible BC, MBC or DNC community.
- Applicants must be pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate studies at an eligible central educational institution.
- Eligible Institutions: IITs, IIMs, IIITs, NITs, Central Universities and other eligible central educational institutions
- Annual family income must not exceed ₹2.50 lakh.
- Students receiving benefits under another Central or State Government educational scholarship scheme are not eligible.
- Applications must be completed using the prescribed form and submitted through the educational institution as directed by the department.
- Fresh and renewal applications must meet their respective deadlines.
