SpellCraft Coding: BIZNOVEXA 2026
Ramco Institute of Technology
📌 About the Event
SpellCraft Coding is the premier competitive programming trial at BIZNOVEXA. Hosted in a digital “potions lab” environment, this event challenges your ability to weave logic and syntax to solve complex problems. Moving beyond simple scripts, participants must demonstrate a mastery of programming fundamentals, the precision to debug “cursed” code, and the creativity to solve real-world scenarios under strict time constraints.

🚀 The Three Trials (Rounds)
| Round | Format | Focus Area |
| Round 1 | Multiple Choice Questions | Tests core knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Language Syntax. |
| Round 2 | Debugging | Identify and fix logical, syntax, and runtime errors in “broken” code snippets. |
| Round 3 | Scenario-Based Coding | The final challenge—implementing a complete solution for a complex real-world problem statement. |
📜 Platform & Competition Guidelines
To maintain the “magical” integrity of the competition, strict technical rules are in place:
- Credentials: Each team will receive a unique login for the official platform.
- Browser Lock: You must use only one browser tab. Refreshing the page or exiting the tab may lead to session termination.
- Auto-Submit: The platform will automatically collect your progress the moment the timer hits zero.
- Reporting: If you face a “glitch in the spell” (technical issue), notify the coordinators immediately.
📞 Contact Details
- Student Coordinators: SivaPriya, Santhosh G
- Faculty Coordinator: Mrs. M. Jeya Sundari
- General Queries: See Yashwin V (+91 82488 18119) or other symposium leads.
💡 Tips for the Coding Arena
- Speed vs. Accuracy: In Round 1 (MCQs), don’t get stuck on one question. Mark it and move on; every second counts.
- Dry Run First: In Round 2 (Debugging), trace the code with a simple input on paper before you start changing lines of code.
- Modular Coding: For the Scenario round, break your solution into small functions. This makes it easier to test and ensures you get partial marks even if the full logic isn’t complete.
- Save Often: While the platform auto submits, ensure you are interacting with the environment to keep your session active.
