Wizarding Premier Auction: BIZNOVEXA 2026
Ramco Institute of Technology
📌 About the Event
Welcome to the Wizarding Premier Auction, where the strategy of the boardroom meets the thrill of the cricket field. Much like the “Gringotts Vaults,” your resources are finite, and every “Galleon” spent must be justified. This IPL-style auction challenge tests your valuation skills, risk assessment, and ability to build a balanced squad under intense pressure. Will you blow your budget on a “Marquee Player” or build a deep, versatile team that can win on any pitch?

🚀 The Bidding Process
- Team Allocation: Teams will be formed or assigned franchises using a Random Shuffle Method to ensure total fairness.
- The Purse: Every team starts with a fixed virtual budget. Overspending leads to immediate penalties or the inability to complete your roster.
- The Hammer: Players will be presented one by one. Teams must bid in real-time, navigating “bidding wars” and strategic passes.
- Evaluation: The winning team isn’t just the one with the biggest stars; judges evaluate the Balance (Batsmen vs. Bowlers), Budget Management, and Overall Squad Strength.
📜 Auction Rules
- Budget Cap: You cannot exceed the allocated purse. Keep a manual track of your spending to avoid disqualification.
- Squad Minimums: You must buy a minimum number of players (e.g., at least 1 Wicketkeeper, 4 Bowlers, etc.) to have a “valid” team.
- Silent Period: Once the hammer falls (the coordinator declares “Sold”), no further bids or disputes will be entertained.
- Teamwork: Only one designated “Bidder” per team should raise the paddle/hand to avoid confusion.
