Pavilion Atlas 2026

📌 About the Event

Pavilion Atlas 2026 is a high level conceptual design competition hosted by Buildner, one of the world’s leading organizers of architectural challenges. This competition invites architects, students, and designers to move beyond the “spectacle” of traditional pavilions and focus on spatial storytelling. The goal is to choose a country and design a structure that acts as a physical narrative of its identity whether that identity is rooted in its ecological struggles, social rituals, or technological dreams. This is a purely conceptual challenge, meaning there are no limits on budget, location, or even buildability; the focus is entirely on the clarity of your architectural idea and its emotional impact.

  • Design the Pavilion: Create a conceptual structure that uses space, light, and materiality to communicate that story.
  • Develop Graphics: Produce high quality 3D renders, floor plans, sections, and diagrams that explain the spatial logic.
