AXIOM is a specialized clinical competition designed to test the diagnostic precision of medical students in Electrocardiography (ECG). From identifying “benign” rhythms to spotting life-threatening electrolyte imbalances and infarct patterns, this quiz challenges the clinical acumen required in Emergency Departments and ICUs.

To excel in AXIOM, you should be proficient in identifying the following patterns:
- Ischemic Changes: STEMI vs. NSTEMI, Pathological Q-waves, and Wellens’ Syndrome.
- Arrhythmias: SVT, AFib with RVR, and the various degrees of Heart Blocks.
- Electrolyte Imbalances: Hyperkalemia (Peaked T-waves) and Hypocalcemia (QT prolongation).
- Drug Toxicities: Digoxin effect (Reverse tick sign).
