4th Mavericks Summer National Bridge Championship 2026 is a national-level bridge championship organised by Karavali Bridge Association under the aegis of the Bridge Federation of India and Karnataka State Bridge Association. 🎯 Eligibility & Rules

  • Open for : Participation is open to resident Indian bridge players. NRI, OCI card holders, and foreign players may also participate, but ranking-point eligibility may vary as per BFI rules.
  • Registration : BFI Master Point Scheme and with the World Bridge Federation.
  • Team : Trios are not allowed in pair events.
  • Follow : Schedule prepared by the Chief Tournament Director or the tournament committee.

🎯 Evaluation Process

  • Scoring Format: Evaluation will depend on the event format, such as IMP scoring, match point scoring, or team-based performance.
  • Ranking Points: In ranking events, performance may contribute to the player’s official ranking points.
  • Final Result: Winners will be decided based on their performance across the respective rounds and formats.
  • Tournament Authority: The final conduct and evaluation will be managed by the championship officials and organizing committee.

  • Event Categories: Players can participate in different bridge formats such as IMP Pairs, Match Point Pairs, Team of Four, and Board-A-Match.
  • Ranking Events: Some categories are marked as Ranking Points Events, meaning eligible players can earn ranking points based on their performance.
  • Side Events: Apart from main events, participants can also take part in side events like Bid of Four and Swiss Pairs.
