The Arduino Physical AI Challenge 2026 is India’s premier deep-tech hardware tournament, co-engineered by Arduino and Qualcomm.

This challenge shifts the focus away from isolated, cloud-based software models. Instead, it dares engineers to build Physical AI frameworks systems where decentralized machine learning algorithms interact directly with the physical world via hardware instrumentation. Using the state-of-the-art Arduino UNO Q development board, participants will deploy low-latency, edge-intelligent models capable of real-time sensing, actuation, and situational decision making.

🚀 The Multi-Disciplinary Tech Tracks

Teams must build functional hardware prototypes utilizing edge inference within one of three core tracks:

• 🏠 Smart Homes & Consumer AI: Engineering predictive home automation nodes, private localized ambient intelligence meshes, smart security arrays, or intuitive appliance control systems.
• 🤖 Robotics & Interactive AI: Architecting autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), robotic arms with computer-vision integration, gesture-controlled feedback loops, or human-machine interface (HMI) modules.
• 🏭 Industrial & Sustainability AI: Developing predictive maintenance telemetry devices for factory machinery, automated smart agricultural yield monitors, carbon auditing hardware, or localized green energy management grids.
