Black and White Photo Awards 2026 is an international online photography competition for photographers who work in the black-and-white / monochrome photography style. The competition is open to photographers from around the world and aims to recognize strong visual storytelling, creativity, and technical quality in black-and-white images.

- Submission: Participants need to upload their photographs through the official contest participation portal.

- Categories: Participants can submit entries under Architecture, Street, Portrait, Fauna and Flora, Landscape, and Open Them
- Registration fee : €15 per category, which allows participants to submit up to 5 photographs in the selected category.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Eligibility: Open to anyone aged 18 years or above.
- Location: Open to photographers worldwide.
- Experience Level: Suitable for both amateur and professional photographers.
- Restriction: Employees of Black and White Photo Awards, associated companies, and sponsor companies cannot participate.
- Submission Rules
- Only black-and-white images are accepted.
- Both film and digital photographs are allowed.
- There is no limit on the number of images an artist can submit.
- There is no restriction on when the photograph was taken.
- Images must be the participant’s original work.
- Image Requirements
- File format must be JPG.
- Minimum image size: 2500 pixels on the long side.
- Maximum file size: 100 MB.
- Images should not include watermarks, logos, borders, or copyright marks.
- Finalists may be asked to provide the RAW file or original file for verification.
🏆 Prize Details and Value
- Absolute Winner: €1,500 cash prize
- Best Photograph in Each Category: €200 each for 6 category winners
- Total Prize Value: More than €5,500 in prizes.
- Additional Rewards
- 15 Honorable Mentions will be awarded.
- Winners and featured photographs may appear in the Black and White Photo Awards annual book / promotional catalog.
- Winners of the Street and Portrait categories also receive access to the Retouch4me photo editing suite.
