📌About the Hackathon
PhysTech 2026 (Physical Activity and Technology Hack Day) is an upcoming, student-led international virtual hackathon designed for anyone who does, watches, analyzes, or promotes physical movement. The challenge bridges the gap between digital technology and human biomechanics, covering sports, athletic training, fitness exercises, and casual recreational activities (ranging from yoga and dance to climbing, skateboarding, and gardening).
The event is open to participants of all ages, backgrounds, and technical skill tiers. Rather than a pure programming competition, PhysTech 2026 focuses on identifying structural needs, friction points, or analytics gaps within physical hobbies and engineering creative, technology-driven solutions to solve them.
