🌐 About the Event The National Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Advanced Structural Health Monitoring, Sensor Technologies, and Data Analytics: Integrating Machine Learning for Infrastructure 2026” is a specialized, 5-day online academic training program. The course is conducted by the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal, in strategic association with Geethanjali College of Engineering and Technology (GCET), Hyderabad.
The program bridges civil engineering with data science, training participants to design predictive maintenance systems for smart infrastructure. By combining real-time sensor networks, signal processing math, and deep learning algorithms, attendees will learn how to detect internal structural micro-damage autonomously before failure occurs, ensuring long-term municipal safety.

- 📡 Signal Processing Foundations: Extracting features from raw hardware readings using Fast Fourier Transforms (FFT), Power Spectral Density (PSD), and advanced noise-filtering math.
- 🧠 Structural Integrity & AI Integration: Implementing Vibration-Based Damage Detection (VBDD) techniques, data feature engineering, Deep Learning architectures, and automated anomaly classification models.
