📌About the Event
Hack4Humanity 2026 is a premier global AI and deep-tech hackathon organized under the joint orchestration of IEEE JCTS, SIGHT, Young Professionals (YP) Pune, and BRAIN.
The competition is structured to channel raw technological innovation into high-impact, human-centric solutions. Over the course of two rigorous evaluation rounds, teams will build functional code bases and architectures addressing critical vulnerabilities, biological computing frontiers, and global social gaps.

🔬 Core Challenge Tracks
The hackathon framework is tightly divided into three innovative frontiers:
- ⚛️ Quantum Computing: Architecting brain-driven quantum frontiers—including quantum algorithms, quantum neural networks (QNNs), brain-computer interfaces (BCIs), and neuromorphic hardware accelerators.
- 🛡️ Cyber Security: Deploying the specialized JCTS framework to build automated threat intelligence pipelines, Zero Trust Architectures (ZTA), active incident response playbooks, and Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) systems.
- 🌱 AI for Societal Good: Engineering technology with targeted purpose—focusing on automated healthcare diagnostics, equitable digital education portals, predictive climate modeling, smart agriculture, and technological systems for social inclusion.
👥 Eligibility & Team Composition Rules
The tournament enforces strict guidelines regarding group formation and registration:
- 🎓 Candidate Background: Open globally to all undergraduate (UG) students, postgraduate (PG) students, and early-career researchers within the first 5 years of their professional careers.
- 👥 Team Scaling Matrix: Groups must consist of 2 to 4 members. Cross-institutional or cross-company teams are highly encouraged.
- 🔒 Exclusivity Clause: An individual participant is strictly permitted to register on one single team. Multi-team cross-entry is fatal to team eligibility.
💰 Tiered Registration Fee Structure
Fees are processed on a flat per-team basis depending on institutional affiliation:
- ⚡ IEEE / BRAIN Affiliate Teams: ₹250 per team
- 👥 Regular Teams: ₹750 per team
🎁 Prizes & Reward Pool (Totaling INR 1 Lakh+)
The overarching prize pool is evenly distributed across the track champions alongside distinct special mentions:
