Code with Cisco 2026 is India’s premier national code-a-thon designed to source, evaluate, and accelerate top-tier university software engineering talent. Skipping standard academic filters like rigid cut-offs or regional pedigree, this challenge serves as an equal-opportunity funnel for final-year engineering minds to solve highly complex, real-world networking, cloud, and infrastructure problems.

👥 Eligibility & Registration Framework
The entry protocol requires academic coordination rather than independent unanchored submission:
- 🎓 Candidate Background: Open exclusively to final-year undergraduate/postgraduate engineering students from specific participating universities.
- ❌ Zero Academic Barriers: There are no baseline cut-offs for Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA), academic specializations, engineering branches, or physical locations.
- 📥 Registration Vector: Interested students cannot register directly online. You must connect with your campus Training and Placement Cell to submit credentials and get officially cross-filed on the portal.
⚙️ How the Code-a-thon Works
1.Placement Cell Enrollment:Starts June 1, 2026.
Eligible candidates coordinate directly with their university’s placement office to gain institutional authorization and entry clearance.
2.Cisco Common Entrance Test: June 25, 2026.
All registered students receive unique test links to clear a rigorous online assessment consisting of a core skills test and skills-based screening interview structures.
3.Team Alignment & Pre-work:June 30, 2026.
The top 75 shortlisted contestants nationwide are announced. Selected innovators assemble into their final cohorts, map out pre-hackathon project scope, and initialize collaboration pipelines.
4.Campus Travel & Finale:July 15 – 17, 2026.
Cisco provides fully sponsored travel tickets to bring final teams to the Cisco Bengaluru Campus for a 2-day live-coding sprint, structural demos, and executive panels.
