NHAI Hackathon 7.0 is an official national innovation challenge organized by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
This edition is specifically engineered to solve major operational friction points in remote, deep-terrain infrastructure projects. The primary objective is to move past cloud-dependent biometric architectures and build a high-precision, entirely local authentication model that protects administrative workflows from internet drops or zero-network environments.

- 🚨 Registration & Final Submission Deadline: June 5, 2026
- 🏁 Current Status: Submissions are officially closing today. Late entries will not be processed by the verification portal.
🔬 Core Architecture Challenge
Participating teams must architect and build an enterprise-ready solution satisfying the following technical parameters:
- 📴 100% Offline Core: The facial recognition and anti-spoofing liveness detection algorithms must run entirely on-device, processing inferences with zero external server pings or internet connectivity.
- 📱 Lightweight Optimization: Optimized execution configurations capable of running smoothly on standard, budget-tier mobile hardware.
- 🔄 Ecosystem Integration: Designed for clean, programmatic API or SDK abstraction to integrate seamlessly into NHAI’s existing Datalake 3.0 application across both Android and iOS architectures.
- 🛡️ Security & Anti-Spoofing: Robust edge-AI pipelines to detect passive/active liveness, ensuring printed photos, video playbacks, or 3D masks cannot bypass field authentication.

🎁 Cash Prizes & Reward Pool
The evaluation jury will award lump-sum cash grants to the top three standalone prototypes:

- 🥉 3rd Prize Winner: Rs. 0.50 Lakh
