📌About the Event
Battle of Projects 2026 is an annual international student academic projects competition by the Association of Designers of India (ADI). It is designed to recognise and celebrate emerging design talent by giving students a platform to showcase their best academic design projects across multiple design categories. The competition is open to design students from India and across the world, and winners compete for the ADI Squares of Design Excellence.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Eligibility: Open to design students across India and the world.
- Project Requirement: The submitted entry must be an academic project completed as part of coursework.
- Project Completion Date: Only projects completed on or after 1 January 2025 are eligible.
- Academic Requirement: The project must be done by a student of design or architecture and under the guidance of faculty.
- Not Eligible: Personal projects and freelance projects do not qualify.
- Verification: Participants may be asked to submit a faculty or institute verification letter at later stages of the jury process.
- Multiple Entries: Students can submit multiple entries; the same project can also be submitted in more than one category.
- Category Rule: For each submission, participants can select up to two sub-categories. Additional category or sub-category submissions require a fresh application and separate fee.
- Submission Requirements: Participants need to submit two short write-ups of 100 words each explaining the problem and the solution.
- Image Requirement: At least 2 mandatory images are required: one hero image and one context image. Images must be in JPEG/PNG format, 2550 × 1440 px, and up to 5 MB.
- Video Requirement: Video is optional for most categories, but required for Film & Animation entries. YouTube links are preferred, and videos should not reveal the identity of the student, team, or institute.
- Evaluation Process: Entries submitted in different categories or sub-categories will be judged independently. A detailed scoring rubric is not publicly listed on the official page/rules document.
