📌About the Event
Art Moves 2026 International Billboard Art Competition is a global public art competition inviting artists to create powerful billboard artworks for urban display. The 2026 theme is “Fear or courage? How can we stop fearing tomorrow and start creating it together?” Selected artworks will be exhibited on billboards during the Art Moves Festival 2026 in Toruń, Poland, making it a strong opportunity for artists, designers, illustrators, and students interested in public art, visual communication, and socially engaged creativity.

- Submission Mode: Online submission via email

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Eligibility:
- Open to all artists interested in billboard art
- Especially suitable for young artists, students, designers, illustrators, and visual creators
- Both individual artists and artist groups can participate
- Open internationally; no nationality restriction is mentioned in the official rules
- Submission Rules:
- Participants can submit a maximum of three artworks
- The technique is open; artists can choose their own creative style
- The artwork may respond to the official theme, but using the theme is not mandatory and will not affect jury evaluation
- Any slogan or phrase used in the artwork must be in Polish or English
- Submitted works must be created personally and independently by participants
- Artworks generated fully or partially using AI image generators are prohibited.
🏆 Benefits for the Participants
- Main Award: PLN 6,500
- Public Exhibition: The 8 most interesting artworks will be printed and displayed on billboards in Toruń, Poland
- Global Visibility: Selected artists get exposure through a curated international public art festival
- Public Art Recognition: Opportunity to showcase work outside galleries, directly in urban public space
