📌About the Event
The FAEA Scholarship 2026–27 is a financial assistance programme offered by the Foundation for Academic Excellence and Access to help socially and economically disadvantaged students pursue undergraduate education in India. The scholarship supports students enrolled in Arts, Commerce, Science, Engineering, Medical, technical and other professional courses. For 2026–27, FAEA has announced 30 scholarships, supported by TATA’s and other donors.

- Last date to apply: 7 July 2026
- Class 12 result-awaited applicants: They may apply only after their Class 12 results have been declared.
🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Eligibility:
- Applicants must have passed Class 12 from a recognised Board of Secondary Education in India or must currently be enrolled in the first year of an undergraduate programme.
- Applicants should belong to socially and economically disadvantaged sections, including:
- Scheduled Caste
- Scheduled Tribe
- Other Backward Classes
- Below Poverty Line category
- General-category students may be considered for need-cum-merit financial grants, particularly when they:
- Have scored above 90% in the Higher Secondary examination; and/or
- Have secured admission to a leading Institution of Excellence in India.
- Students must be enrolled in or planning to join an undergraduate course at an Indian university, institution or college.
- Students must undertake full-time study in a formal degree programme.
- Result-awaited Class 12 students must wait until their results are declared before applying.
🏆 Benefits for the Participants
- A total of 30 students will be selected for the FAEA Scholarship 2026–27.
- Financial assistance may cover:
- Tuition fees
- Maintenance allowance
- Hostel charges
- Mess charges
- Travel expenses
- Clothing expenses
- Book-purchase expenses
- The final scholarship amount will be decided by FAEA according to the applicant’s needs, proposed study plan and available funds.
- The scholarship may cover the full or partial cost of the selected student’s education.
- Support may continue for up to five years, depending on the duration of the course.
- The scholarship must be renewed annually based on the scholar’s academic progress and the availability of funds.
- Tuition, hostel and related institutional fees may be paid directly to the educational institution.
- Other approved funds may be disbursed directly to the scholar.
- Shortlisted applicants attending interviews may receive reimbursement for second-class travel for one round trip.
- For female applicants, travel reimbursement may also be provided for one accompanying person.
