📌About the Event
The AICTE Saksham Scholarship 2026–27 is a Government of India scholarship that supports students with disabilities pursuing technical diploma or undergraduate degree programmes at AICTE-approved institutions. Under the scheme, eligible students can receive ₹50,000 per year to cover educational expenses such as college fees, books, stationery, computers, equipment and software. Applications for the 2026–27 academic year are open through the National Scholarship Portal.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Eligibility:
- The applicant must be a student with a disability of at least 40%, supported by a valid disability certificate issued by a competent authority.
- The applicant’s annual family income from all sources must not exceed ₹8 lakh during the current financial year.
- A valid family income certificate issued by the competent State or Union Territory authority must be submitted.
- Degree applicants must be admitted to:
- The first year of an eligible undergraduate technical degree programme; or
- The second year of an eligible degree programme through lateral entry.
- Diploma applicants must be admitted to:
- The first year of an eligible technical diploma programme; or
- The second year of an eligible diploma programme through lateral entry.
🏆 Benefits for the Participants
- Every eligible scholarship recipient receives ₹50,000 per academic year.
- The amount may be used towards:
- College fees
- Computer or laptop purchase
- Books and stationery
- Educational equipment
- Academic software and other study-related expenses
- Degree students admitted in the first year: Support for up to four years, with a maximum potential benefit of ₹2,00,000.
- Degree students admitted through lateral entry: Support for up to three years, with a maximum potential benefit of ₹1,50,000.
- Diploma students admitted in the first year: Support for up to three years, with a maximum potential benefit of ₹1,50,000.
- Diploma students admitted through lateral entry: Support for up to two years, with a maximum potential benefit of ₹1,00,000.
- No additional scholarship amount is provided separately for hostel charges, medical expenses or similar costs.
- The scholarship is disbursed annually through DBT after selection and verification.
