The Gappy AI Hackathon 2026 is India’s first software sprint powered by the Lemma SDK a localized, locally-runnable, open-source infrastructure layer engineered for AI-native software. Unlike traditional applications that merely log static transaction histories, or primitive wrappers that serve as basic QA chatbots, this competition challenges you to design systems that execute multi-step automations and integrate complex user workflows.
📅 Critical Timelines & Logistics
- Rolling Registration Window: June 8 – June 29, 2026
- SDK Launch & Hackathon Kickoff: June 24, 2026
- The Build Window: June 24 – June 30, 2026
- Entry Fee: 100% Free
- Team Formations: Solo developers or cohesive squads of up to 3 builders.
- Open To: Developers, Product Managers (PMs), Operational Architects, and Tech Students.
💰 Cash Prize Pool Distribution
A total unencumbered cash pool of ₹1,00,000 will be awarded to the top three functional builds:
- 1st Place Grand Champion: ₹50,000
- 2nd Place Runner-Up: ₹30,000
- 3rd Place Podium Finisher: ₹20,000
📊 Evaluation & Judging Architecture
Submissions are evaluated based on system utility and execution metrics rather than aesthetic polish:
