Construction Startup Competition 2026 is the 10th edition of a global startup challenge for emerging companies building innovative solutions for the construction and built environment sector. Hosted by Cemex Ventures with global construction and venture partners, the competition focuses on ConTech, climate tech, smart buildings, logistics, jobsite productivity, and preconstruction solutions. Selected startups get global visibility, access to investors and corporate partners, pilot opportunities, pitch-day exposure, and equity-free cash prizes.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Eligibility:
- Open to startups from any country; there is no territorial limitation.
- The applicant must be a startup/legal entity with a solution connected to the construction industry.
- The startup must have been incorporated from 2017 onwards.
- The startup should fit pre-seed, seed, or Series A funding stage.
- The startup must show market validation and product-market fit.
- Employees of Cemex or partner companies are not allowed to participate.
🏆 Benefits for the Participants
- Cash prizes:
- APAC Pitch Day winners: approx. €10,000 in aggregate.
- American Pitch Day winners: approx. €50,000 in aggregate.
- European Pitch Day winner: approx. €10,000.
- Equity-free prize: Selected winners receive cash prizes without giving equity.
- Investment opportunity: Applicants may also be eligible for strategic investment opportunities.
- Networking: Access to an ecosystem of 5,000+ startups and 300+ investors and corporate partners.
- Pilot opportunities: Startups can explore pilots and real-market testing with global construction companies.
- Pitch exposure: Finalists get to pitch to executive representatives and industry leaders at major construction innovation events.
- Travel support: For selected Pitch Day participants, Cemex Ventures may cover travel expenses such as transportation and lodging up to a maximum limit.
