The Open Challenge Program (OCP) Cohort 1 is a flagship deep-tech incubation initiative launched by the NERVE Centre of Excellence (CoE) at STPI Nagpur. Fully backed by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, this highly structured 18-month accelerator program is engineered to discover, fund, and scale the next generation of DeepTech and Innovative AI startups building localized solutions for India’s primary sectors.
The program bridges the gap between raw algorithmic development and commercial viability by providing state-of-the-art infrastructure, computational power, and direct capital access under one roof.
📅 Critical Timelines & Logistics
- Applications Launch: June 5, 2026
- Application Deadline: July 15, 2026
- Program Horizon: 18 Months physical residency
- Venue & Lab Space: NERVE CoE, STPI Nagpur, IT Park, Maharashtra, India.
- Operational Mode: Startups are expected to operate physically from the 10,000 sq. ft. high-speed incubation facility. Hybrid or remote variations are reviewed case-by-case during onboarding.
