📌About the Event
CapCut AI Festival CRE[AI]TE 2026 is CapCut’s first global AI festival, created to celebrate original storytelling, visual creativity, and human imagination powered by AI. Participants can submit AI-assisted video work across four tracks: Film, Series, Creative, and Commercial. The festival will recognise 30 works, including 10 cash award winners and 20 Spotlight Selections, with selected entries featured across CapCut’s official channels and festival programming.
ℹ️ Event Details
- Mode of conduct: Online submission through the official CRE[AI]TE entry form.
- Theme/focus: AI-powered storytelling, filmmaking, visual creativity, social-first content, and fictional brand/commercial films.
- Categories:
- Film: Original AI-assisted films with a strong story; minimum length is 2 minutes.
- Series: AI-assisted serial storytelling; minimum 2 episodes, each at least 40 seconds.
- Creative: Social-first, experimental, visual-led work; length should be 30 seconds to 3 minutes.
- Commercial: AI-assisted brand films/spec ads for fictional or self-created brands; length up to 3 minutes.
- Submission requirement: Participants need to submit the final video file or public link, title, creator/team details, country/region, category, short description, tool usage details, and English subtitles if the work is not in English.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Eligibility:
- Open to creators worldwide, except where prohibited by law.
- Independent creators, students, artists, studios, and teams can participate.
- Students can enter all four categories and may also be considered for the Student Vision Award.
- Work created on or after April 1, 2026 is eligible.
- Key Rules:
- Entry is free.
- Each work must be submitted to only one category.
- Participants can submit multiple unique works, as long as each meets the category rules.
- AI-generated or AI-assisted content must play a central role in the final work.
- CapCut Video Studio should play a primary role in the submitted work, and other tools can be used if disclosed.
- Non-English entries must include English subtitles.
- Participants must have rights/permissions for all assets, music, voices, likenesses, brands, and IP used.
- Existing brand names, logos, products, images, or trademarks are not allowed in the Commercial category.
- Evaluation Process:
- Entries will first be checked for eligibility, category fit, baseline quality, and compliance with rules.
- Eligible submissions may be reviewed by the CapCut CRE[AI]TE team and/or an international jury.
🏆 Benefits for the Participants
- Total recognition: 30 works will be recognised.
- Cash Awards:
- Grand Prix: US$70,000 for 1 winner across all categories.
- Category Winners: US$20,000 each for 4 winners, one per category.
- Category Honorees: US$10,000 each for 4 honorees, one per category.
- Student Vision Award: US$10,000 for 1 eligible student winner across all categories.
- Spotlight Selections:
- 20 standout works will receive non-cash recognition.
