CCCL x SheBuilds Chennai Hack Code & Challenge 3.0 is an elite national-level women-in-tech hackathon hosted by Claude Community Events and the SheBuilds Ecosystem.
Designed to promote gender diversity in deep-tech and civic software engineering, this multi-staged challenge pushes teams to tackle complex real-world social impact tracks. The competition alternates formats between initial open-ended ideation and a final, high-pressure curveball sprint.
📅 Critical Timelines & Infrastructure Gates
- Shortlist Reveal Day: July 15, 2026 (Top 50 teams advance to the physical arenas).
- 🏁 Offline Grand Finale Running Window: Saturday, August 1 (09:00 AM) to Sunday, August 2, 2026 (06:00 PM IST).
- Physical Venue Hub: Rajalakshmi Engineering College (REC), Vellore – Chennai Road, Rajalakshmi Nagar, Thandalam, Mevalurkuppam, Tamil Nadu, 602105, India.
- Operational Logistics: Entry requires host approval via the portal. Food, meals, and refreshments are provided entirely by the organizers throughout the 24-hour workspace sprint. (Note: Separate personal travel and lodging before/after the execution windows are not provided).
👥 Roster Requirements & Registration Rules
- Gender & Age Thresholds: Open exclusively to women builders aged 18 years and above.
- Team Scaling Bounds: 2 to 4 members per roster (welcoming both technical developers and non-technical product/UX designers).
- Structural Pipeline Guardrail: Only the designated Team Leader submits entries to avoid duplicate repository logging. Teams that have already registered via Devfolio do not need to resubmit this specific intake form.
