The Muskaan Scholarship Program 2.0 (2026-27) is an impactful corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative launched by Valvoline Cummins Private Ltd. (VCPL).
Administered in collaboration with the Buddy4Study platform, this scholarship program is designed to provide critical financial relief, academic stability, and safety awareness mentoring to underprivileged students. The project focuses explicitly on preventing school dropout rates among the children of commercial transport drivers and automotive mechanics, as well as students from economically vulnerable demographics.

🎓 Strict Eligibility Parameters
To qualify for the screening pipeline, applicants must fulfill all of the following structural, geographic, and socioeconomic criteria:
1. Academic & Grade Thresholds
- The student must be actively enrolled and studying in Classes 9, 10, 11, or 12.
- Applicants must have secured a minimum of 60% or above in their immediate previous academic class evaluation.
2. Geographic Bounds
Applicants must be residents of and studying in one of the following specific Indian states or union territories:
- Southern Region: Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and Puducherry.
- Eastern Region: Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Odisha.
- Northeastern Region: Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura.
3. Socio-Occupational Categories
The scheme is strictly reserved for:
- Children of commercial drivers (holding valid licenses for Light Motor Vehicles [LMV] or Heavy Motor Vehicles [HMV]).
- Children of automotive mechanics.
- General students belonging directly to the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category.
4. Financial Limits & Exclusions
- The cumulative annual family income from all combined revenue sources must not exceed INR 8,00,000 (8 Lakhs).
- Conflict of Interest Exclusion: Children of employees working at Valvoline Cummins Private Ltd. (VCPL) or Buddy4Study are strictly barred from participating in this scholarship track.

Selected scholars will unlock a structured student support package:
- Direct Financial Grant: A scholarship payout of up to INR 12,000 (disbursed based on verified actual educational expenses).
