📌About the Event

NXP Cup India 2026 is a national-level robotics and AI challenge for engineering students in India. Previously known as NXP AIM India, the competition gives students a chance to design, build, and race autonomous mobile robotics prototypes using technologies like AI/ML, ROS, Gazebo Simulator, computer vision, LiDAR, cameras, obstacle avoidance, and self-driving algorithms. The 2026 challenge theme focuses on Autonomous Medical Response, where teams develop a mobile robotics prototype using camera and LiDAR inputs.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Eligibility:
  • Open only to students aged 16–26 years as on 1 April 2026
  • Participants must be pursuing UG or PG in Engineering
  • Students must be from registered Indian colleges
• Team size:
  • Teams can have 1 to 4 members
  • Multiple teams from the same institute can register
  • A participant cannot be part of multiple teams
  • Teams can be formed outside the same college, as per the FAQ on the official page
