The FTII Workshop on Master the Art of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Cinema is a hybrid filmmaking workshop by the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, under its Centre for Open Learning initiative. The workshop is designed for learners who want to understand how AI can be used in cinema, from visual storytelling and cinematic prompts to AI-assisted production, post-production, colour grading, sound design, and final film showcase. The workshop will be conducted from 13 July to 23 July 2026 in online and offline formats in Mumbai.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Nationality: Open to Indian participants only
- Age limit: Participants must be 18 years or above as of 1 July 2026
- Educational qualification: HSC / Class 12 pass
- Exception: Class 10 pass candidates may be considered in exceptional cases
- Computer literacy: Participants must be comfortable using a computer for the online phase
- Device requirement: Desktop or laptop with minimum 4 GB RAM and 1.6 GHz or better processor
- Internet requirement: Minimum 5 GB internet per day; FTII recommends a wired internet connection with 10 Mbps or higher speed
- Mobile phone rule: Attending online classes through a mobile phone is strictly prohibited
- Classroom rule: Participants are expected to keep cameras on during online sessions unless instructed otherwise
- Selection process: First-come, first-served basis
- Certificate rule: Minimum 90% attendance is mandatory to receive the participation certificate
