The Quiz on the Constitution of India is a national-tier competitive initiative launched under the Independence Day Celebrations (IDC) 2026 portfolio, administered simultaneously via the MyGov and MY Bharat platforms.
Designed to promote civic literacy and constitutional values ahead of the centenary milestone, this high-stakes digital evaluation track checks citizens’ knowledge regarding the historical drafting of the Constitution, key democratic amendments, federal structures, institutional checks and balances, and the underlying philosophy of Fundamental Rights and Duties.

📏 High-Stakes Technical & Quiz Operational Rules
- Bilingual Framework: All question modules are presented in a bilingual layout, fully accessible in both Hindi and English.
- Structural Division: The competitive track comprises a total of 4 distinct quizzes. No round-wise elimination is enforced, allowing all participants to complete the entire suite.
- Per-Quiz Volume & Speed Bounds: Each individual quiz module features a maximum of 20 questions that must be resolved within a strict countdown window of 5 minutes (300 seconds).
- Attempt Ceiling: Exactly 1 single attempt is permitted per citizen profile across each of the 4 independent quiz modules.
- Algorithmic Selection Metric: The ultimate national leaderboard winners are determined strictly via a matrix tracking the “Maximum Correct Answers in the Shortest Cumulative Time” across all 4 segments.
🏆 Prize Matrix & Exclusive Red Fort Invitations
The Ministry of Defence has structured an exceptionally high-value rewards framework to incentivize national participation:
- Top 3 National Winners Cash Reward: ₹15,000 each (Requires verified submission of ID proof, banking details, and a canceled check upon official notification).
- Consolation Cash Grants: ₹5,000 each awarded to fifty (50) selected runners-up.
- Red Fort VIP Access: The Top 200 participants will receive a formal government e-invitation to witness the Independence Day Ceremony live on August 15, 2026, at the Red Fort, New Delhi.
- Companion Pass: Each of the top 200 invitations features an additional pass for one companion (spouse, guardian, or relative). Note: Children below 5 years of age are legally barred from entering the secure parameters as companions.
- Logistics Note: While long-distance travel, boarding, and lodging to Delhi must be completely funded by the individual, on-site travel on the Delhi Metro network to and from the parade will be 100% free of charge upon showing the official e-invitation.
