Tetrathon 2026 is a high-profile, cross-continental 36-hour hackathon and innovation sprint organized by Navrachana University (NUV), Vadodara, Gujarat, in partnership with the Navrachana Innovation Foundation (NIF) and ISEN Méditerranée, France.
Aligned directly with India’s National AI Strategy, the event focuses on engineering production-ready software and hardware prototypes to solve high-impact industry challenges. Standout teams gain post-event support from NIF (Navrachana’s incubation arm, backed by the MSME Innovative Scheme and Gujarat’s SSIP), unlocking paths to seed funding, investor introductions, and long-term startup incubation.
📅 Critical Timelines & Campaign Roadmap
The competition transitions from an initial virtual vetting layer to an intensive on-campus build phase:
Phase 1: Registration Window
- Dates: June 28 – July 22, 2026 [Actively Open]
- Rule: Teams of 3–5 members must register together (no solo sign-ups allowed).
Phase 2: Online Screening Round
- Dates: July 23 – July 28, 2026
- Process: Administrative review followed by short video calls with shortlisted cohorts.
Phase 3: Selection Proclamation
- Date: July 29, 2026
- Outcome: The top 40 selected teams are announced and receive their on-campus welcome and logistics packs.
Phase 4: On-Site Inauguration & Kickoff (Day 0)
- Date: July 31, 2026
- Activities: Opening ceremony at the NUV Auditorium, assignment of dedicated mentors, and the official reveal of real-world industry problem statements on stage.
Phase 5: The 36-Hour Hackathon
- Dates: August 1 – August 2, 2026
- Execution: 36 hours of non-stop building, table-side mentor working sessions, and live product demos before the jury panel.
Phase 6: On-Site Closing Ceremony
- Date: August 7, 2026
- Outcome: Final scoring, winner announcements, and distribution of cash prizes and certificates.
🎛️ Specialized Innovation Domains (Tracks)
Rather than generalized prompts, teams will tackle actual operational bottlenecks across four targeted verticals:
- HealthTech (Patient Care & Diagnostics): AI systems for diagnosis support, clinical data risk analytics, triage automation, and remote telehealth infrastructure.
- AgriTech (Sustainable Agriculture): Predictive crop forecasting models, precision irrigation controllers, supply chain monitoring, and soil yield optimization tools.
- FinTech (Financial Inclusion): Micro-lending architectures, alternative credit scoring modules for unbanked demographics, fraud detection engines, and accessible digital payment layers.
- EdTech (Adaptive Learning): Intelligent tutoring systems, real-time assessment layers, personalized learning pipelines, and digital accessibility compliance tools.

The event features a total cash prize pool of ₹1,75,000 (approx. €1,750):
- Grand Winner: ₹1,00,000
- First Runner-Up: ₹50,000
- Second Runner-Up: ₹25,000
