The India AI Impact Festival 2026 is a prestigious national-tier ecosystem initiative themed around “AI for Bharat: Enriching Lives with AI Innovation.” The festival is a massive collaborative project launched by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), INDIAai Mission, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog, and Intel India. The program celebrates transformative, highly scalable, and equitable Artificial Intelligence applications designed to boost inclusive public growth and solve socio-economic bottlenecks across India.

The festival separates applicants into distinct social-impact tracking lanes based on their demographic and operational profile:

⚖️ The 3-Stage Evaluation Pipeline
Every submitted blueprint passes through an independent, rigorous vetting process:
- Stage 1: Screening & Selection Filter All online entry submissions go through a thorough evaluation of technical viability and impact potential. Only the Top 15 shortlisted entries per category advance further.
- Stage 2: Virtual Jury Panel Interaction Shortlisted contestants undergo detailed virtual interviews and code/prototype demonstrations with a multi-disciplinary panel consisting of senior government officials, tech leaders, and top academics.
- Stage 3: National Felicitation & Global Up-scaling Final scorecards determine the national winners. Beyond domestic awards, the Top 3 absolute winners from the AI Impact Creators pool are designated as “Team India” to represent the country internationally at the global final.

- The Global Intel Ticket: The overall Top 3 AI Impact Creators earn a direct nomination as ‘Team India’ for the global Intel® AI Global Impact Festival 2026.
