The Catch The Rain – Selfie or Reel Contest 2026 is an online citizen-engagement contest launched to promote rainwater harvesting, groundwater recharge, water reuse, and sustainable water management. Participants need to submit an original selfie or short reel showing their real contribution towards saving rainwater at home, school, workplace, farm, or community level. The contest is part of the nationwide #CatchTheRain campaign and is hosted on MyGov in collaboration with the National Water Mission under the Ministry of Jal Shakti.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Eligibility: Open to citizens who want to showcase their efforts toward water conservation and rainwater harvesting.
- Submission Rule: Participants may submit either one selfie or one reel focused on the #CatchTheRain campaign theme.
- Mandatory Hashtag: Every entry must prominently use #CatchTheRain; entries without this hashtag will not be considered for evaluation.
- Selfie Format: JPEG, JPG, or PNG format only, with file size not exceeding 2 MB.
- Reel Duration: 30 to 90 seconds.
- Originality Rule: The selfie or reel must be original and created by the participant. It must not violate third-party intellectual property rights.

- Top Reward: Best 10 entries will receive an e-Certificate from the National Water Mission, Ministry of Jal Shakti.
- Certificate: E-Certificate for selected best entries.
