The NXP Cup India 2026 is a premier national-level intelligent car racing challenge organized by NXP Semiconductors. Designed for future mobility engineers, the competition tasks teams with designing, building, and programming an autonomous mobile robotic rover.

The 2026 edition features a highly specialized challenge theme: Autonomous Medical Response. Teams will build self-driving models capable of navigating complex environments, avoiding obstacles, and recognizing signs using advanced software and sensor suites.

👥 Eligibility Rules & Team Architecture

• Age & Academic Bracket: Open strictly to engineering students aged 16 to 26 years (as of April 1, 2026).
• Course Enrollment: Must be currently pursuing an undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) engineering degree from a registered Indian college or university.
• Team Structure: Teams can consist of 1 to 4 members.
• Inter-College Alliances: Cross-college collaboration is explicitly allowed members of a single team do not all have to belong to the same institute.
• Exclusivity: An institution can register multiple teams, but an individual student cannot join more than one team. Doing so results in immediate disqualification for all involved teams.
