📌About the Event

SIMCAD 2026, also called Simulation Competition National Day, is a national-level chemical process simulation competition under SiCheCo UNSRI 2026. The competition challenges engineering students to solve real industrial process problems using Aspen HYSYS. For 2026, SIMCAD follows the sub-theme “SINOVA: Sustainable Innovation and Advanced Engineering”, focusing on sustainable energy, biomass potential, and advanced chemical engineering solutions.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Eligibility:
  • Open to active D3/D4/S1 engineering students enrolled in universities in Indonesia
  • Participants must be from the Faculty of Engineering
  • Each team must consist of 2–3 students
  • Team members must be from the same university
• Rules:
  • Participants should be familiar with the basics of Aspen HYSYS
  • Teams must solve chemical process simulation problems based on real industrial cases
  • Aspen HYSYS V10 or newer versions are allowed
  • Aspen Plus is not permitted
