📌About the Event

Battle of Projects 2026 is an annual international academic project competition organised by the Association of Designers of India. It provides design and architecture students with an opportunity to present academic projects, receive recognition from the design community and compete for the prestigious ADI Squares of Design Excellence. The 2026 edition accepts projects across areas such as industrial design, visual communication, digital interaction, film and animation, fashion, sustainability, social impact, spatial experiences, strategy and research.

• Participation format: Individual or team
• Award ceremony mode: Offline in Pune, India
• Project requirement: The submitted work must have been completed as part of the participant’s academic coursework.
• Eligible project period: Projects completed on or after 1 January 2025
• Number of categories: Nine main categories with multiple subcategories
• Main categories include:

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Eligibility:
  • Open to design students from India and other countries.
  • The project must have been completed by a student of design or architecture.
  • The project must have been completed on or after 1 January 2025.
  • It must be an academic project completed as part of the participant’s course.
  • The project should have been completed under the guidance of a faculty member.
  • Personal, independent and freelance projects are not eligible.
  • Participants may be asked to provide a verification letter from their faculty member or institution during later stages of the jury process

• First Prize: ₹3,00,000 and a certificate
• Second Prize: ₹2,00,000 and a certificate
• Third Prize: ₹1,00,000 and a certificate
• Total announced prize value: ₹6,00,000
• Winners receive recognition through the ADI Squares of Design Excellence.
• Winners will be invited to the award ceremony in Pune.
