📌 About the Competition
The Aesthetica Creative Writing Award is an internationally acclaimed literary prize hosted annually by Aesthetica Magazine, a UNESCO City of Media Arts partner. Originally launched over 15 years ago to spot and nurture the next generation of creative voices, the award has grown into a highly respected industry pipeline.
Past winners and shortlisted alumni have gone on to achieve widespread literary acclaim, earning nominations for elite honours such as the T.S. Eliot Prize, the Forward Prize, and the Costa Book Award. The competition is celebrated for giving unknown writers direct exposure to high-profile literary agencies and prominent editors from institutions like The Poetry Society, Granta, and VINTAGE.
