📌About the Event
The Workshop on Script to Screen 2026 is a seven-day hands-on filmmaking programme organised by the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, under its Centre for Open Learning initiative. The workshop will guide participants through the complete filmmaking process—from developing an initial idea and writing a script to directing, cinematography, editing and sound design. Participants will also learn how to create films using an accessible tool: a mobile phone.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Minimum age: Applicants must be at least 15 years old as of August 1, 2026.
- Educational qualification: Applicants must have passed Class 10 or SSC.
- Nationality: Applicants of any nationality may apply.
- Foreign applicants: FTII will not provide invitation letters or supporting documents to foreign nationals.
- Selection process: Participants will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Application process: Applicants must complete the application form and pay the workshop fee through the designated SBI Collect payment portal.
- Attendance requirement: A minimum of 90% attendance is compulsory to receive the participation certificate.
- Code of conduct: Participants must maintain appropriate discipline, decorum and behaviour at the workshop venue.
