📌About the Event

The Workshop on Basics of Research Methods and Biostatistics is a one-day hands-on training workshop being held as part of PEDICON 2027 Coimbatore, the 64th National Conference of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics. The workshop is designed to help students, medical professionals, researchers, and academicians understand core research concepts such as research methodology, study designs, PubMed literature search, PICO questions, statistics, randomized controlled trials, and sample size calculation.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• The competition is open to students studying in Grades 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10.
• Students must participate individually; team participation is not permitted.
• Students from schools across India may participate.
• Any number of eligible students from a school can take part in the first round.
• Participants must provide accurate school and contact information while registering.
• The first round will be conducted through an online quiz platform.
• Students with the highest scores in the preliminary stage will progress to the digital semi-final.
• The leading semi-finalists will qualify for the on-stage Grand Finale.
