RIDE 2026 is the flagship National Level Mini Bike Design, Fabrication, and Racing Contest hosted by Karpagam College of Engineering in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
This high-octane engineering competition challenges student teams to act as real-world automotive manufacturers. Engineering squads must design a miniature vehicle from scratch following strict technical parameters, fabricate it through hands-on welding, machining, and assembly, and ultimately put their custom creations to the test in live, competitive dynamic racing and maneuverability trials on the track.

🎛️ Competition Categories & Focus Tracks
The tournament separates custom-built vehicles into distinct classes based on their power delivery systems:
- Engine Category – Track I: 100 cc internal combustion engine-powered mini bikes.
- Engine Category – Track II: Up to 80 cc internal combustion engine-powered mini bikes.
- Electric Category: High-torque, battery-powered electric vehicle mini bikes showcasing clean energy solutions.

📏 Team Size & Registration Rules
- Squad Capacity: Maximum of 6 members per team.
- Entry Costs: Fixed registration fee of ₹4,000 per team (covers all team members).
- Deliverable Validation: All registered participating teams receive official institutional certification validating their engineering design and racing hours.
