📌 About the Event
The “My Income Tax – My Pride Poster & Painting Competition” is a national creative initiative launched by the Income Tax Department, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, in collaboration with MyGov.
Organized as a cornerstone event for the milestone 167th Income Tax Day celebrations, this competition seeks to engage school students, college students, and the youth in the dialogue of civic duty. The campaign uses visual art to transform a dry financial topic into a canvas of national pride—challenging citizens to illustrate how income tax contributions directly fund the country’s multi-layered growth, from local public welfare projects to macro-level space and defense infrastructure.
