The LHSS Legislative Review Competition 2026 is an online legal research and writing competition organised by the Law, Humanities and Social Sciences Collective of Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai. Participants must critically examine a recent legislation enacted between 2024 and 2026 in the Global South and study its intent, enforcement and socio-political impact. The competition encourages intersectional, reform-oriented analysis of how contemporary laws affect marginalised communities and seeks recommendations that promote justice, representation and democratic accountability.
