📌 About the Program

The Blue Economy and Fisheries Quiz 2026 is a national-level citizen engagement competition organized by the Department of Fisheries (Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Government of India) in collaboration with MyGov.

Launched to commemorate National Fish Farmers Day 2026 and honor the 1957 induced-breeding breakthrough by Dr. Hiralal Chaudhuri and Dr. K. H. Alikunhi, this campaign aims to increase public awareness regarding sustainable aquaculture, fish farming, and the vital role of fisheries in strengthening India’s Blue Economy.

• Quiz Type: Competitive Online Timed Quiz

• End Date: August 21, 2026 (11:45 PM IST)
• Duration: 10 minutes (600 seconds)
• Total Questions: 20 questions
• Maximum Attempts: 1 attempt per user
• Eligibility: Open to all Indian citizens via MyGov Auth / OTP Login

🎯 Quiz Format & Guidelines

• Time-Bound Execution: The timer begins immediately upon clicking the “Start Quiz” button, allowing 600 seconds to solve 20 questions.
• Single Attempt: One participant can enter the competition only once. Multiple or duplicate entries are prohibited.
• Submission Policy: Proof of sending an entry is not considered proof of receipt. Incomplete or damaged registrations will be rejected.
• Governance: The decision of the Department of Fisheries and MyGov is final and binding under the laws of the Indian Judiciary.
