❓Who Can Apply for the Inlaks Shivdasani Scholarship 2026?
To be eligible for the Inlaks Shivdasani Scholarship 2026, you must meet all of the following conditions:
You must be an Indian passport holder and currently residing in India. You must have been born on or after 1st January 1996. You must hold a first class degree or equivalent from a recognised Indian university. For Social Sciences, Humanities, Law, Fine Arts, and Architecture, you need a minimum of 65% or CGPA 6.8/10. For Mathematics, Sciences, and Environment, you need a minimum of 70% or CGPA 7.2/10. You must have a confirmed offer of admission from your chosen overseas institution for the 2026-27 academic year. If your admission letter requires an English language certificate such as IELTS or TOEFL, you must fulfil that before applying.
You are NOT eligible if you already hold a postgraduate degree from an overseas university, or if you are already studying abroad.
🎯Selection Process
The foundation reviews eligible applications in April 2026. Online preliminary interviews are held with shortlisted candidates around May 2026. A final in-person interview takes place in Mumbai in the 3rd or 4th weekend of May 2026.
Candidates are assessed on past achievements, present performance, and future potential. For arts and design applicants, portfolios carry strong weight in the evaluation.
