Hacktivate 2.0 is a national-level hackathon that brings together students, developers, designers, working professionals, and technology enthusiasts to create practical solutions for real-world challenges. Participants will first submit their ideas online, while shortlisted teams will advance to a 36-hour offline hackathon at JIMS Engineering Management Technical Campus in Greater Noida on September 11–12, 2026.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

  • Who can participate:
    • Students from any year of study may participate.
    • Students from all technology and engineering branches are eligible.
    • Participants from colleges across India may apply.
    • Working professionals are also eligible.
    • Beginners as well as experienced developers and technology enthusiasts can participate.
    • Teams must have 2–4 members, according to the latest organizer announcement.
  • Participants must register and complete their team formation before the registration deadline.
  • Each team must submit a presentation explaining its proposed project idea.
  • Teams must select one of the available hackathon tracks while developing their solution.
  • Only shortlisted teams will advance to the offline hackathon in Greater Noida.
  • Shortlisted participants must be available for the complete 36-hour offline event.

  • The official event website advertises an overall prize and benefits pool worth ₹15 lakh or more.
  • First prize: ₹20,000
  • Second prize: ₹12,000
  • Third prize: ₹8,000
