The Inter-University Essay Writing Competition 2026 is a national-level academic writing competition jointly organized by the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA) and Career Point University.

The competition invites undergraduate and postgraduate university students to share original perspectives on how modern digital communication, social media, and Generation Z are reshaping international relations and India’s global footprint.

• Stage 2 (Scrutiny Phase): Shortlisting of top entries by expert panels
• Stage 3 (Live Round & Results): September 12, 2026 (Live Q&A before jury & prize distribution)

• Registration Fee: Free / NIL (No registration fee required)

Competition Topics

• English: Digital Diplomacy, Gen Z and Social Media: Shaping India’s Global Image
• Hindi: डिजिटल कूटनीति, जेन Z और सोशल मीडिया: भारत की वैश्विक छवि का निर्माण

Formatting & Submission Rules

• Word Limit:
  • Undergraduate (UG): ~2,000 words
  • Postgraduate (PG): ~2,500 words
• Technical Specifications: MS Word format (.doc/.docx), Font size 12, 1.5 line spacing (Fonts: Times New Roman for English; Mangal or Unicode for Hindi).
• Submission Mode: Online via Google Form or offline submission directly to the School of Arts and Humanities.
• Required Details: Student Name, Telephone Number, Student Address, Institution Name & Address.
• Verification Documents: Self-attested copies of both Institutional ID and Government-issued ID proof.
• Originality & Restrictions: Single entry per student. Strict plagiarism check enforced; previously published or submitted essays will be disqualified.

• Certificates & Awards: Cash prizes, trophies, and merit certificates awarded to top winners following the Stage 3 Jury Q&A.
• Publication & Copyright: Copyrights of winning essays will belong to ICWA and Career Point University, with feature publication on their official websites.
