📌 About the Program

The AI for Good Hackathon 2026 is an international, 48-hour hybrid innovation sprint designed for young technological innovators.

The hackathon challenges student teams to build functional artificial intelligence prototypes that directly address one or more of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). Submissions are reviewed and evaluated by a distinguished panel comprising educators, AI software engineers, and ministry advisors.

👥 Eligibility & Team Structure

• Age Group: 14 to 22 years
• Team Size: 2 to 4 members per team
• Seat Availability: Capped at 200 total seats (153 seats remaining)

🎯 Project Scope & Evaluation

• Objective: Develop a working, functional AI prototype targeting a specific UN SDG (e.g., climate action, healthcare access, quality education, clean energy).
• Judging Criteria: Technical feasibility, innovation, alignment with UN SDGs, user experience, and practical potential for real-world impact.
