📌About the Event

OOSC 4.0 Hackathon 2026 is a national innovation challenge organised as part of the Opportunity Open Source Conference at IIIT Allahabad. Teams will develop functional, open-source technology solutions, submit their prototypes online and, if shortlisted, present them before an expert jury during the OOSC 4.0 finale. The event gives developers, designers and innovators an opportunity to build practical projects, compete for cash prizes and connect with the open-source community.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Eligibilty:
• Open to developers, designers and innovators interested in technology and open-source development.
• Participants must register in teams of 2–3 members.
• Teams must build a functional prototype based on the provided problem statements.
• Submissions must include:
  • A public GitHub repository
  • A 3–5-minute demonstration video
  • Problem statement and solution overview
  • Technology stack details
  • A properly structured README file
• Projects should be open-source, reproducible and supported by a live demo or working prototype.
• Late submissions will not be accepted.
• Shortlisted teams will present their solutions before an expert judging panel.
