The International Workshop on Offshore Oil & Gas (OOG 2026) is a three-day technical event organised by the Department of Ocean Engineering, IIT Madras. It brings together students, researchers, academicians, policymakers and industry professionals to discuss offshore drilling, pipelines, offshore structures, safety, AI applications and sustainable offshore energy systems. The workshop also features expert sessions, hands-on training, industry interactions and a student poster competition.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Eligibilty:
- UG students, PG students, research scholars, faculty members, scientists, engineers, industry professionals and policymakers.
- Registered students receive free entry to the student competition.
- Participants in the poster competition are expected to present research ideas related to offshore oil & gas and offshore engineering.
- Participants must complete workshop registration and payment to confirm participation.
- Evaluation: Outstanding poster presentations will be selected for awards; detailed judging criteria have not been publicly specified by IIT Madras.
