TECHNOVA 2026 – National AI Innovation Challenge is a flagship innovation competition organized by Thiagarajar School of Management (TSM), Madurai, in collaboration with the TSOM Innovation & Incubation Centre.
With the overarching theme “Solving Tomorrow’s Problems Today”, the challenge serves as a national platform to empower student innovators to design, prototype, and scale AI-driven solutions addressing complex real-world challenges across businesses, governance, healthcare, and society.

👥 Eligibility Criteria
- Open to 3rd-Year and Final-Year Engineering Students enrolled in recognized institutions across India.
- Eligible Disciplines: AI, ML, Data Science, Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Biotechnology, and allied engineering branches.
- Team Format: Teams must consist of 3 to 5 members.

- Total Cash Prize Pool:₹10,00,000 (10 Lakhs)
- Zonal Level Awards: Worth ₹2,00,000
- Grand Finale Awards: Worth ₹8,00,000 (₹1,00,000 each for categories including National Champion, Best AI Innovation, Best Social Impact Solution, Best Startup Potential, Best Sustainability Innovation, Best Women-Led Team, Best Industry Solution, and Jury Special Recognition).

📄 Required Submission Materials
- Online team registration (3 to 5 members per team).
- Selection of domain innovation track and problem statement write-up.
- Prototype documentation/codebase and presentation deck for zonal and final rounds.
