The 1st National Online Poster-making Competition is organized by The Chair on Consumer Law and Practice (CLAP) at the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru.
The competition invites students and young creators across India to translate complex legal and market realities into compelling visual artwork. It aims to raise awareness about contemporary consumer protection issues, educate citizens on consumer rights and remedies, and promote ethical and informed consumption in the digital age.

Participants can design an original poster based on any contemporary sub-theme related to consumer protection, including:
- Consumer Protection Act, 2019: New rights, remedies, and dispute resolution.
- E-Commerce Tactics: Dark patterns, drip pricing, and manipulative design interfaces.
- Advertising Standards: Misleading ads, surrogate advertising, and celebrity endorser liability.
- Platform Economy: Consumer rights in quick-commerce, ride-hailing, and gig platforms.
- Digital Security: Data privacy, algorithmic bias, online financial fraud, and cybersecurity.
- Product Safety: Product liability, safety standards, and recall mechanisms.
- Health & Nutrition: Food adulteration, misleading labeling, and nutritional misinformation.
- Sustainability: Greenwashing and sustainable, ethical consumption.
- Consumer Justice: Access through e-Daakhil, mediation, and consumer commissions.
