📌About the Event

The I Am Responsible Gen Z – Reel Making Competition 2026 is an intercollegiate digital storytelling contest organized by Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil (KBP) College, Thane to mark India’s 80th Independence Day. Based on the theme “I Am Responsible Gen Z – My Country… My Commitment,” the competition invites young creators to showcase patriotism, civic responsibility, and their vision for India through short Instagram reels.

• Mode: Online reel creation and submission through Instagram.
• Reel Duration: 30–60 seconds.
• Format: Vertical video in 9:16 aspect ratio.
• Participants must upload their reel on Instagram and tag @kbpcollegethane.
• Participants must send a collaboration request to the college account.
• The reel must include the hashtag #GenZCommitmentKBP.
• Shortlisted reels will be screened at Gadkari Rangayatan, Thane West.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Eligibilty:
• The competition is an intercollegiate event aimed at college students and young creators.
• Participants should create a reel relevant to the theme “I Am Responsible Gen Z – My Country… My Commitment.”
• Reel length must be between 30 and 60 seconds.
• Videos must follow the 9:16 vertical format.
• Entries must be posted on Instagram.

• Entries will be screened and shortlisted before the final prize distribution.
