📌About the Event

Idea Competition 2026 – From Idea to Incubation is a startup-building challenge organised by E-Cell, Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering (FR.CRCE), Mumbai. The competition is designed to take participants beyond a basic idea pitch by guiding promising solutions through idea submission, validation, prototyping, product demonstration and pitching, with access to mentors, founders, industry professionals and incubation opportunities.

• Mode: Online for the initial competition/submission stage.
• Team Size: 2–4 members.
• Format: Multi-stage startup and innovation competition covering submission → screening → validation → prototyping → pitching/product demonstration.
• Major Tracks:
• Healthcare & Well-being – AI diagnostics, mental health, medical devices, preventive healthcare and healthcare accessibility.
• Sustainability & ClimateTech – clean energy, EV infrastructure, waste management, water conservation, smart agriculture and circular economy.
• Education & Future of Learning – AI-powered learning, EdTech, skill development, accessibility, campus solutions and assessment technologies.
• The focus is on developing practical solutions to real-world problems with the potential to progress towards a viable startup or product.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Eligibilty:
• Team Size: Participants must form teams of 2–4 members.
• Teams should submit an idea addressing a real-world problem under one of the competition tracks.
• Round 1: Idea Submission & Screening.
• Shortlisted ideas move towards validation and prototype development.
• Later stages include idea pitching and product/demo rounds.
• Participants should demonstrate the potential to transform their concept into a practical product or startup solution.
